Ideas for Wedding Favors
If you are in the process of planning your wedding you will probably know how important wedding favors are these days. Fortunately, there are a number of different options which are very easy to arrange at the last minute. With this in mind, it should be one less item you have to worry about for your big day because your favors might just be a phone call away.
An easy wedding favor option is flowers which really don't take much to arrange but guests can enjoy. The preparation for flowers is almost non existent other than deciding on what flowers to use which can be ordered reasonably close to the big day.
A popular choice are red roses and as a symbol of love which is very fitting at a reception. You can simply purchase one for each guest and have a member of the catering staff, a friend or family member place one rose across each place setting after the tables have been set for the wedding reception.
Always a popular easy wedding favor option is candy as most people will be more than happy to have a small carton placed for them on the table. A simpler but possibly more interesting method is to present the candy that does away with expensive centerpieces altogether. All you require to make this successful is to use a large glass bowl and fill it with all your favorite candy for the guests to enjoy.
To complete this idea, a small plain bag or carton can be left for each wedding guest to put their candy into. This could be called a self service gift because all you have to do is supply the candy and something to place it in.
Although candy is popular, you may wish to give your guests a picture frame which is longer lasting and more useful. Whilst this is a great idea for a wedding favor gift it is only easy to do if you can present it without having to wrap it. For this to work you need to make things simple so why not save having to wrap the gifts by using them as placeholders; and who would anyone blame you?
For those of you that like an easy wedding favor that is a little different then why not use a local photographer, you can have each guest pose for a shot which can be presented to them at the wedding reception. The photos can be printed out whilst the reception goes on and the guests will have a pleasant surprise at the end of the evening when they leave as their photo will be waiting for them. As everyone will be looking at their best this is a wedding favor they will really enjoy; seeing themselves this way in a professional photo. Many photographers will also have a projector so could arrange a looping slide show of all the photos he had taken of the guests.
